Breaking the Silence: Mental Wellness

Mental health remains a stigmatized and under-resourced area in Liberia's post-conflict society. Our "Mental Wellness Liberia" initiative is changing the narrative through education, counseling, and community support groups.

Support Group Image

We train guidance counselors in secondary schools to identify early signs of trauma and depression in adolescents, providing a safe space for students.

Specialized therapy circles for older generations still dealing with the residual trauma of the civil war.

Radio shows and community theater programs designed to de-stigmatize mental illness and encourage seeking help.
Women & Girls Focus

Maternal & Reproductive Health

Ensuring safe births and healthy mothers. We provide "Mama Kits" containing essential sterile delivery supplies to expectant mothers in rural areas and fund training for traditional midwives to recognize emergency complications.
